MagicTask Update 007 brings improvements across onboarding, comments, task management, Workspace Admin, security, avatar customization, Realms, Dungeons, and overall usability.
This release focuses on making MagicTask easier to learn, faster to use, and more polished across everyday workflows.
Smoother Onboarding & Navigation
We added new ways to organize and manage projects more efficiently.
We continued improving the first-time experience with a cleaner Welcome screen, clearer Realm Picker messaging, and fewer unnecessary Continue and Skip actions.
We also fixed the Sudo character appearing unexpectedly after refresh, improved hover feedback across buttons, and simplified navigation throughout onboarding.
Better Comments & Collaboration
Comments are now easier to use for both quick conversations and longer discussions.
- Added comment and mention notifications.
- Added a full-screen comment view.
- Added attachment upload progress.
- Improved scrolling for tasks with long descriptions.
- Restored spellcheck when editing comments.
- Fixed comment windows remaining open after switching projects or opening Customize Avatar.
- Fixed date-range selection in Comment History.
Faster Task & Project Management
We improved several everyday productivity workflows.
- Added Subtask and Tag buttons directly to the taskbar.
- Added icons to three-dot menu actions.
- Simplified task duplication by removing the extra confirmation.
- Added support for collapsing and expanding empty sections.
- Removed unnecessary drag-and-drop guide lines from List and Board views.
- Added missing Last Updated information in Workspace Admin Projects.
- Fixed deleted projects reappearing in the Projects table.
- Added easier filter removal using an “x” on active filters.
Security, Members & Account Improvements
We added CAPTCHA during signup to help prevent automated bot registrations.
Member management has also been improved with better filter controls, clearer text visibility in dark themes, and smoother Workspace Admin workflows.
In My Profile, Submit Feedback has been renamed to Support to make help options easier to understand.
Realm & Dungeon Improvements
We improved stability and visuals across Realm and Dungeon experiences.
- Added MagicToken rewards for duplicate items.
- Improved scrolling in the inventory panel.
- Restored rotation for supported 3D items.
- Fixed continuously spinning Realm Picker screens.
- Restored missing Realm, Dungeon, and Avatar icons after changing Realms.
- Fixed the stretched Elemental Realm Picker background.
- Prevented the Light Dungeon from loading unnecessarily while another Dungeon is opening.
- Updated the Neon Pulse background for better task visibility.
- Fixed Neon Pulse section headers turning black while scrolling.
- Improved task visibility in the Minimalistic Dark Dungeon Board view.
Performance & UI Polish
This update also includes several smaller improvements across scrolling, calendars, billing, Dungeon loading, and interface responsiveness.
We removed the Glitch animation from Billing, prevented unnecessary calendar scrolling, improved Avatar performance, and cleaned up multiple UI interactions across the platform.
MagicTask Update 007 makes everyday work smoother while continuing to improve the onboarding, collaboration, gamification, and Realm experiences throughout MagicTask.
