This week’s updates focus on login reliability, billing improvements, drag-and-drop performance, onboarding fixes, comments, attachments, startup optimization, and overall product stability.
Login, Authentication & Account AccessWe fixed several issues that were affecting account access and user login flows.
- Fixed email verification issues for new users.
- Fixed email verification issues for users migrating from MTV2 to MTV3.
- Resolved an issue where users could get stuck in an authentication loop.
- Fixed certain UI crashes that could occur after logging in.
- Improved the overall post-login experience for a more stable workspace entry.
Billing & Subscription UpdatesWe improved the billing experience to make subscription management clearer and more reliable.
- Fixed an incorrect tab name that appeared after billing actions.
- Updated the plan cancellation confirmation flow so it only accepts MAGICTASK in uppercase.
- Updated all support email references to support@magictask.io.
Performance & UI ImprovementsWe fixed several usability and stability issues across the product.
- Optimized startup time for a faster launch experience.
- Added a splash screen for a smoother app opening experience.
- Fixed an issue where the interface appeared too small on some devices.
- Improved drag-and-drop performance to reduce lag.
- Fixed a crash caused by using the sidebar search bar.
- Improved scrolling in dynamic item picker lists.
- Improved overall UI stability in key workflows.
- Project & Drag-and-Drop ImprovementsWe made project organization and task movement smoother and more reliable.
- Improved drag-and-drop behavior when moving items into collapsed sections.
- Improved drag-and-drop behavior when moving projects into folders.
- Fixed an issue where members could not create projects in an Admin workspace.
- Improved navigation when returning from the Change Realm flow.
Comments & AttachmentsWe improved comment attachments so collaboration works more smoothly.
- Fixed image and video uploads in comments when using drag-and-drop.
- Fixed image and video uploads in comments when using copy and paste.
- Resolved additional issues affecting comment attachments.
Onboarding ImprovementsWe improved the first-time user experience and fixed issues in the onboarding flow.
- Fixed an issue where the “First Task Completed” popup did not appear after a new user created their first task.
- Fixed an issue where users could earn a double chest during onboarding.
- Changed the Team Size field in onboarding to a dropdown for easier selection.
Realms, Dungeons & Avatar UpdatesWe improved the gamified MagicTask experience across realms, dungeons, and avatar customization.
- Made dungeon randomization dynamic.
- Fixed avatar background images not loading in Customize Avatar.
- Improved navigation behavior after changing realms.
Platform UpdatesWe completed important platform updates to improve reliability and security.
- Completed data migration improvements.
- Fixed the Slack community link.
